"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - Am I smart enough to pos a picture of my new bike?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Insanely hot. I can't TT and I want one of those. I don't know what I'd do with it, lend it to someone, but it'd be cool to have.

*edit* squeeze the chainstay, will you? Does it visibly flex? My friend in CA does this to all the bikes he sees (he's amazed at how thing tubing is). We saw a Transition in a store but the owner was picking it up so I didn't feel comfy squeezing his chainstay. :)

It's way more solid than I thought it would be. No flex by my legs.

Oh, I meant with your fingers. BMC carbon flexes significantly, so did a bunch of other really tall chainstay frames (Cervelo, I forget the others). Shops must have thought we had some chainstay fetish. Hm. I guess we do.

Oh, ok. I thought your comment was in reference to so many I've seen about the bike's apparent lack of stiffness due to the weird chain and seat stays (which it is actually quite stiff)

Just gave it a squeeze. There is just a slight amount of flex right in the middle. Probably not measurable.

Thanks :) I think the guy at the shop we were poking around in would not have appreciated it if I did it to his bike. I'm amazed at the tolerances nowadays. My top tube does the same, but I have AL stays.

Still, though, love that bike. I wish I could justify such a machine.
