Hey everyone. I've posted a few times already, but wanted to officially introduce myself.

I love all kinds of bikes/biking, and my obsessions shift from time to time. Now, it's becoming single/fixed, I'm almost sure of it. I don't have either, yet, but I do have a coaster brake road conversion.

I like to piece together wierd creations that I think up.

This forum is so fun and informational.

Have fun and be careful out there, it's a strange place.

Welcome Jessica! Gotta love the old ten speeds - I really wanted to rebuild my mid 70's Schwinn Super Sport when I got back into cycling a few years back, and may still do it eventually - lot of good memories on that one! Did pick up a Schwinn Peloton two years ago, and have enjoyed it.... yet somehow I look to that old ride, hanging from the ceiling in the garage.... and my mind wanders!!

Of course I do! (except wheelbuilding, that is...) I would really like to learn that, but so busy lately.

pel-o-ton: That's why I like them too, it's so easy to experiment with them when your mind does wander! Is that Super Sport as in gas pipe frame? or later?

Here is a pic of my '82 LeTour I finished at the beginning of the summer. It's a five speed, mostly original.
