Tandem Cycling - this is a great thing to hear:

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Best wishes for a wonderful career as a dad/captain!
And you really should post a picture on the Pictures of Happy Tandem Teams (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=391947) thread.
that's the only bummer, i didn't have the camera today. we did get up to 35 mph, and she wants to go faster!

Ah, good old Stoney Creek . . . used to do that loop around lake quite regularly back in the mid-70s!
Coming off the hill at the entrance coming down Shelby Rd (?) could get you up to that speed too!
Try the UP for some longer hills!
Enjoy tghe ride TWOgether!
