So I run a front brake, and my ****ty rims are getting destroyed by it, as I knew would happen. I have looked all over for machined deep vs, and I can't find them anywhere. In fact a "machined" search on ebay under wheelsets returns 0 results.
Anyone know where I can find some? The color I'm looking for is celeste.
Edit:
Found some

Looks like they don't have celeste in stock, so if someone runs across them let me know...

Is it possible to sand the paint off a rim to make it machined yourself?

Must... control.. fists.. of... death....
Search.
But yes, very quickly the paint will strip and you will have a machined braking surface (depending on weather conditions and how hard you brake). In my experience with a non-machined rim with a brake, I ran it brand new in the winter so the gunk + brake + hills had it damn near machined in a week.

I used search, all I found were threads talking about machined vs non machined, not where one can buy them, or if it's possible to convert them yourself. Now I know the only difference between a machined and non machined is that there isn't paint on the braking surface of the machined.
Anyway, thanks....
