Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Leaving work 20 minutes before dawn on a Sunday morning in 60 degree weather

No traffic, none at all
nothing beats owning the road!!!!!

Watching the Sun Rise over Lake Ontario

Watching the White Tail Deer scatter as you silently cruise by them

Watching the waterfowl wake up on the ponds

All this while cruising 21 carefree miles before 7 A.M.

And when I get home, I get to go to bed and sleep through the heat of the day.
How much better could it get? :)

I hear ya cranky.

These were the deer I put out on my Saturday AM commute. Took the long loop to work. Magically turns two miles into 20. That's the Erie Canal at Lock 33, still not filled for the season. The spillway is in the background.
