It is a good ride and lots of fun. Be carful not to drink to much on friday night, wait until saturday. As far as hills they keep you near the lake on the flatter sections of road. Well flat for up hear but not that bad so don't worry. Most of the locals do the ride and party on the island Satuday.

I ride that area all of the time and last year ended up doing the Fahrrad tour in frankenmuth. I have inlaws down there and it is a very flat Metric (I don't get flat rides very often). I found a fast group that tries to beat there time every Year and I hope to meet with them again this year.

Have fun and drink a few for me.

Harbor springs has a fast ride sunday mornings. Have you ever done it? It runs out to Cross Village on 119 (22 miles each way). A mild no drop 20 MPH double paceline on the way out and an all out Who can you drop dogfight on the way back.
