A friend is planning on selling his Air Friday. Before he lists it, any suggestions for figuring out how much it's worth?

I bought mine last November for $1200. It is a 1997 model with Shimano 600 (Ultegra) components. It had the suitcase and a bunch of spares.

Suggest he check out the price on any comparable used AF's on the Bike Friday website.

A friend is planning on selling his Air Friday. Before he lists it, any suggestions for figuring out how much it's worth?
Since Bike Friday's are so custom it is very difficult to come up with good suggestions on used prices. They tend to fluctuate a lot as well.
The best thing is probably to search the yak list (http://www.bikefriday.com/mailman/listinfo/yak), eBay, and Bike Friday's used page to see what similar bikes have gone for recently. Note that you shouldn't expect to get the same price that Bike Friday does. The used bicycles that they sell include a full warranty, while ones sold by individuals do not.
I'd expect a 10 year old Bike Friday (with accessories) to go for about half of the cost of a similar new model (without accessories).
