Anybody know anything about this bike? I know Jacques Anquetil was one af the best racers of all time, and rode Gitanes. It's about a hour drive, is it worth it?

The bike is basically low end junk, but at least its not over priced, for a change. I dont think I'd make an hours drive for it, though.

About 1.7 gallons.:) At todays price by my house about $5.50. :) Yeah my car gets 36 mpg.

He said make him an offer. So offer him $10 or 15 if you're looking for something to have a little fun with. If you're looking for a serious vintage bike to build up, probably not worth it based on the posts here.

I also responded to this CL ad and when she got back to me with the info it sounded like she got a lot of responses and was going to sell the highest offer. So, perhaps not properly prices junk. :rolleyes:
