'72 UO-8 Cranks and pedals. Would these be French thread?
Selling a pair and i don't have the right answer for the buyer.
Can you help?

If the pedals or cranks say "9/16" on them, they are not french thread. If they have a size in mm, then french. If they don't say anything, get an old 9/16 english thread pedal and try to thread it on the crank. I believe the 9/16 will be too big to thread on to the french crank arm, goes in a few threads and stops.

The pedal are Lyotard. Marked "Made in France"
The cranks left hand crank is marked VP T
L

but no sizes!
