Does anyone out there know about the monetary/collector value of a schwinn speedster in great condition? 3 speed hub works great brakes great with stock tires and tubes that still hold air and arent cracked.
Some small scrapes in the british racing green paint. I am considering selling her to fund future "investments"

What year is it? They were made from the late 1950's to the 1970's.
Speedsters are not as sought-after as other Schwinn bikes even from the same era.
My estimate is $40 to $70 if you can find a buyer
I'm guessing maybe less or equal to $100, depending on what version it was. I seem to recall Speedsters in several incarnations. Some had "camelback" cantilever frames, some diamond frames, I think some had more traditional cantilever frames. I think they were to be "middleweights" rather than the cruiser-like balloon tire bikes, which probably works against them in value. They are pretty solid commuter bikes and will probably outlast you and me with minimal care.
