I'm doing the 4's and 30+ 3/4's.

If you're considering it then sign up soon. He canceled the last crit due to low pre reg. :(

i should have added that i hate road racing. i suck at it. like bad. and i like CBR's events a lot. i just have to be at san luis rey because it's my club's race. otherwise, i'd make the 60 mile drive for a chance at winning/being competitive instead of driving 15 and getting smoked on a very nice course in a very nice event and having to hang out and be useful afterwards.

Signed up for Cat 5... I actually make it a point to attend CBR events. They appear more dedicated to southern california racing than the other promoters out there.

CBR events are great. I doubt I'll make it out to this one though. Chances are I'll still be Cat 5 then, and I cant really justify driving 60-70 miles for a 30 minute race at 7:30am. I'll just push my group extra hard for the first 10 miles of my Saturday morning ride instead, haha.

I have Breathless Agony the day before, but would like to race if I have the legs. I'll have to take a wait and see approach.

If this is a sample of the rest of SoCal then me thinks this CBR crit will be canceled as well. :( Oh well, save me about $40 in gas.

Hi,

As I've stated many times, I do what I can to support CBR but unfortunately my plans are to race San Luis Rey.

I hope that Chris and Vera get enough racers to show up for their race but I don't fully understand why they have their race on the same day as a long standing road race.

Good point.

I just officially signed up online so hopefully it doesn't get canceled.

+1. I try to support Chris's events but this is on the same day of a "have to do" race, even though I'm not climbing great right now. I'm really surprised Chris did this because guys I know that don't like road races do San Luis Rey.

I'll be at San Luis Rey as well. I've been dying for a road race all year. Besides, the Cat 4 riders are starting to get a little too squirrelly in these short crits with huge packs.

That seems to be the determining factor for them, which is weird as I recall many races seemingly empty until the last week to register. His business, his choice, though.

I'll be signing up for it. I had my share of road races and hilly crits from last weekend. Plus it's close by.

I'll be there for 2 or 3 races.
