I had a tailbone injury (probably cracked) about ten years ago. To this day, it stilll gives me problems from time to time, especially on 30+ mile bike rides. Any suggestions on a saddle for my whip that might reduce or help prevent the tailbone pain?

i've never paid attention to tailbone position really, but i have an old vetta saddle that has a pretty deep recess in that section. maybe look around for something like that? it's probably an early 90's leather saddle.

hey, i have a similar thing. lots of pain on any moutnain bike set up where the weight falls back, especially with a backpack. i had less probs on a road and track style bikes because of better weight distribution i guess. and ow i have no probs at all with the road or track set up and a brooks saddle. i reckon tackle saddle and bike position. good luck.

Does a specific part of the saddle put pressure on your tailbone? I feel like all the weight and the general body position of riding a bike would bother any injury there.
