i have seen this done a few times (disc lock on rear wheel only and then a mini u-lock to a post). does this do anything at all beside make it a pain in the ass for the person to cut it off the rim once stolen? for some reason it makes no sense unless the disc lock is around the wheel AND the frame (which probably wouldn't fit).
only reason i ask is it would be nice to carry one of those really small disc locks instead of the second mini u-lock that i am about to buy.
