Road Bike Racing - Mauricio Soler-What are his prospects this year?

I really loved this kid last year at the TdF, has he made any noise this year at all?
I've never heard him discussed as a GC contender, but I'd love to hear Botto weigh in on him. Has he ridden any major races yet? He doesn't strike me as a Spring Classics kinda guy though.

He did drop something like 13 minutes in the TTs last year, but if he manages to pull a Basso and learn to TT and drop that 13 to 6-8 and keep climbing like he did last year, he seems to me to be a decent GC threat... He did finish 11th last year, 17 minutes down. He could shave some of that off.
I'm also curious about Marcus Burghardt.

He's a little inconsistent, and for Tour winners these days, consistency is a valuable tool to have. Also, it hurts to watch him, his technique is a lot like watching old people make love.

He didn't too poorly at one of the early spanish one week races that Contador one, I think it was Valencia, or maybe Murcia? He'd be an interesting pick for a race like Classica San Sebastien or maybe even Lombardia.
