Does anyone know if they came drilled for front and rear brakes?

I think, although I'm not sure, that the entry level Miyata Pista may have been drilled for brakes...

I can tell you for sure that the early 90s Team Pista did not come drilled.

Confirmed my memory... if you look at the 1985 catalog at miyatacatalogs.com you'll see that the regular Pista model for that year did have a drilled seatstay bridge...

Wow. Thanks for posting that awesome catalog site. Now I know exactly what year my conversion is.

no problem... the guy who put the site together was on here as he was putting it up awhile back... my memory is that he worked at a (Canadian) bike shop that imported Miyatas...

Sadly my Miyata isn't in the catalogs... even T-mar couldn't help me nail down a year; that's rare!
