Very possible show from this pair. :D
I'm in. Got it marked on the family calendar. Where's the start?

Golden Gate bridge. I know it's an early start but I don't want to finish really late. Get's kind of cold and windy on Tam. Plus maybe some snacking and hot chocolate after at my place.

BTW... I have room at my building for about 3 cars to park all day if needed... 1st come first serve.
Definitely interested. Gotta check the family calendar, but I'm optimistic.
I'm doing a different ***kicker ride that weekend - Tour of the Unknown Coast. At the rate I'm going, I'll have attempted pretty much every climb that everyone seems to want to stick on the new NorCal jersey!

GOODLUCK;) Hope the winds at your back and the devil's asleep at the wheel!
I think Tricia and I have a wine tasting event that Saturday....
Thought I'd do my "big ride" on Sunday. Hummmmmmm.
Pete, I should be around for this ride.
I was about to say "We'll see, depending on how the Wine Country goes", but then I noticed the start time of 7:30. Driving straight there would mean leaving my house by 5:30 or so, and the earliest train out of Bay Point doesn't arrive at Embarcadero until 6:51, and would require me to leave my house by 4:30.
So suffice it to say, "not bloody likely!" :p
So suffice it to say, "not bloody likely!" :p
I was about to shout out... Let's carpool!!! but that's makes for an extremely long day (and away from my youngins) so I'll 2nd... Not bloody likely. ;)
Will see yous at the Davis Double.
I'm going to do a different ride instead on Saturday. I think I have had enough long stretches of fairly quiet solid road for the next little bit. I'm going to to the usual dam route to Tam summit followed by the headlands and starting off with 20 miles of stuff in the SF.
The closer this comes on, the less likely we will be to make it. Wheels haven't progressed at all. :( I'm to call Velocity's prez hotline tomorrow and see what I can dig up. I would think the Outfitter could have handled it. It seems more and more likely that I will pick up the wheels from there and have my LBS take care of the warranty legwork.
Sounds fun, I am still in... but I don't need so much attention Pete ;) My attention craving Ritalin days are long gone. haha.
This works perfect because I am doing a nutty ride on the tandem on Sunday (Basically the Peninsula ride I organized before that fell apart). Tunitas + Tandem =
Unfortunately, I'm on-call this weekend, so I won't be able to make it. Have fun out there.
Do I need to reiterate my not-in-ed-ness at this point? If so, I repeat: Not bloody likely! :p
I guess I'll have to make my own, aloney riding plans this weekend. Or be lazy.

I can fit a couple of cars in the drive way, so first to ask gets the slot.
I need a ride Saturday to get some angst out of my system before I'm completely emersed in Estrogen on Sunday... I need to be a gentleman...and it ain't happening on Saturday
Hey Ramon whad a mean quiet roads? They'll be nothing quiet about it... come on a board...do the fixie Sunday.

I knew if I mentioned Gladiators and hills in the same sentence, we'd be hearing from you:)
Did Tuesday Nite in the park BTW...I rode mostly with the girls, which was Hella fun! I kept messing with them. 50 miles on a Tuesday Night is a good training ride. I'm doing San Bruno Mt. Thurs. if you're up for it. Probably about 3pm.

Pete:
You can change my status from yellow to green light. I'll be the lamb that you gladiators lead to slaughter...

Ok I am in, but we have to do the final 3 miles to the summit or Tam or else.
Cool. This is shaping up to be a good ride!

Parking Lot...
Marco,
Want to carpool? We could park in Chrissy Field or somesuch.
There is always plenty of parking in the Sports Basement parking lot. Or, if you want to get even closer to the bridge, drive up the hill, and on your right, before you get to the metered Bridge parking lot, there's a dirt lot that you can park in all day. That early in the morning, it should be easy to get a spot there.

Maybe on the way back. Ruth works near Pier 39, and starts @ 7am. So I am hitching a ride with her.
So where's the exact meeting spot?
Pre-crossing bridge lot?
