Recumbent warriors,

A friend of mine is doing a 4,500 mile trek across the United States to raise money for 2 chapters of the Red Cross. Although I already posted this in the in the “Charity Events” section, I realize that most of us never go there…I certainly didn’t until today.

The reason that I dropped this here is that I was looking through his pictures, and the only 2 bikers I saw him take pictures of were recumbent guys also doing long hauls. If you’re interested in their rigs (one is towing a clam shell car rack) take a look and maybe drop a donation on him.

I've seen pedal powered submarines. Any connection with your name?

submergedbiker

No, The only submarines that I've been on were nuclear powered (20,000+ shaft horse power). The name comes from the miles Jeff (the guy the post is about) and I put in while underway. We were both officers on the USS KEY WEST (SSN722) out of Pearl Harbor.
