Fellow cyclists, and all supporters, users, and lovers of the Illinois Prairie Path!! Don't miss this once-a-year event!!! Mark your calendar now and plan to be there.

Please ride with me for the first annual Thyme & Honey Breakfast Before the IPP Cleanup, this Saturday, April 26. Meet at Scoville Park at 7:15am or at Thyme & Honey (7500 West Madison, Forest Park, north side of the street, just east of DesPlaines Ave.) at 7:30. We will depart from Thyme & Honey at 8:30 and proceed to the IPP cleanup meetup, touring over the new DesPlaines River Bridge and past the new fancified entrance to the Illinois Prairie Path on the way.

The volunteer meeting spot is 11th Ave and Maybrook Drive (or 11th Ave and the IPP). The IPP is about a block south of Madison Avenue. Meeting time is 9am.

Please feel free to join us at any point. Bring money for breakfast and/or lunch (Christine Pastor is in charge of directing us to a Local Purveyor of Hot Dogs for our second essential meal). Please note: you will also need a lock for your bike.

Questions? contact me or Paul Aeschleman aeschlemanp@saic.com (630) 430-4663 or Christine Pastor chpastor3@yahoo.com 708-227-0411 for more information.

Please forward this message to other lists, cyclists, neighbors, etc -- all are welcome.

would we be riding the path during the cleanup??... wondering if you would bring your road bike to this or mountain bike?

It's a paved path, so go road bike. If you are coming from the city and care to, take either the green or blue line to Harlem/Forest Park respectively and you will be a mile or so from Thyme & Honey.
