I checked out the Tour de Georgia website earlier and was pleasantly surprised to see that a Canadian rider Andrew Pinfold had finished fifth on todays stage and that that seven of the Canadian based Symmetrics team were in the top fifty of the GC. I also have to admit to being a bit embarassed too because i had no idea that there even was a highly rated Canadian pro team. Cycling is evidently one of the fastest growing sports yet the only coverage we seem to get is the yearly Tour de France on God awful OLN. I emailed TSN some time ago to ask about more cycling coverage and got a form email back saying basically we get too many emails to respond to yours. Maybe if they hear from enough people they'll reconsider or maybe they'll dump OLN and ally with Versus which used to be OLN in the US and does carry cycling...One can always hope.
