Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Post ur DUBBLES (straps)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have looked around for double strap set ups recently, trying to decide if I should get some. I've got some really awesome MKS gr-9s, which aren't set up for doubles, though I've heard of people running them with no issues. The few threads I dug up were old and all the pics were dead, so I have no examples.
So, post your doubles set ups if you have em. My friend just got some soma 4 gates that he seems to like, though a lot of people here seem to hate them, so opinions on those, or running doubles with single gates clips, would be great as well.
Edit
I was thinking these:

With doubles. Good or bad idea?

and the oppy x you linked to is just the singles version of the oppy xx you mentioned your friend had so it would make more sense to get the xx if you are wanting doubles...

No kidding.
My point is people said they hate four gates, so I was wondering if a double gate would be any better.
Edit
I think I just made myself stupider by posting this thread.

I did not like my GR-9s with toshi doubles. Just felt wrong. Neither strap felt like it was in the right spot. I just put the doubles on some old KKT top run road pedals (they're like sylvan roads) and it feels much better. I'd say stick with the GR 9s and some nice singles. Doubles are overkill really (beautiful, comfy overkill!)

I agree with this to an extent. Finding the right toe clips will put the straps on your feet how you want them. Ill post up my toshis and GR9 combo in the morning when i find my camera for you though.

I found the exact opposite. On my main bike I use the quad gate Somas with vegan straps on GR9s and love them to death. That being said, my other bike has MKS singles to some junk Wellgo pedals. I think the double excel in every way that one could hope them too.
Everyones feet are going to fit pedals/clips/straps differently than the next guys. You really need to try them out to see what is most comfortable for you. I never plan on setting anything up with singles again.

I run toshi doubles to mks tracks/clips. Super super comfy, hold my feet like a gem. I don't think i'll go back to single straps.
