I have a banquet today down in Indianapolis. It's the awards banquet for the ALL USA Scholarship and he New Century Scholarship award. Either of these would take a lot of the pressure off of me as far as financing my education.

I can't remember the underwear protocol for banquets. Just go commando.

Well, I'm home. No scholarship :(. I am on the All Indiana Academic Team though and that itself has benefits. :D I was presented with a 2 OZ 24K Gold Medallion, and made some valuable connections. My ranking academically is listed at 14th Statewide.

I don't view this as a failure, though. ;) There were only 50 of the scholarships being awarded nationally, so life goes on. :) It's still a major honor. :D

Oh, too bad about the scholarships, but we still think you are the best! As you said, though, there were benefits which may possibly turn out to be even more valuable to you in the future.
