Hello from Singapore everyone. Been riding for the past 12 years, mostly road, till the beginning of this year when the mtb bug bit me. Have lived and cycled in quite a few countries: United Arab Emirates, West Africa, South Africa, Bangadesh, Malaysia, Nepal, Indonesia. Current bikes:1991 Raleigh Reynolds 653 steel, 2002 Trek 5500, 2003 Fuel 100, 2004 Ellsworth Truth. All time favourite route: Kathmandu trail to the Himalayas. Biggest biking scar: 13 stitches on right shin. Strength: Technical Climbs. Weakness: Downhill. Worst bonk: 25miles from nowhere with another 3000 vertical feet to climb in the Malaysian jungle. Scariest biking moment: encountering a wild boar on an Indonesian trail. Most ridiculous ride: trying to brave the monsoon rains in Bangladesh. Most irritating riding partner: a friend who's 10 years younger and seem to do everything just a little bit better no matter how hard i train.
