Classic & Vintage - **help with an AMF Roadmaster Voyager **

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hello Everyone. I picked up this really awesome AMF Roadmaster Voyager. It has 26 inch wheels made by MARK with a Bendix 70 rear coaster brake hub. It really amazing looking. I was just wondering if anyone else has one of these, and if anybody has info on them. Thanks so much!

When did you get this? Those reflectors are interesting, although I can't see where the rear one would do much good, since anyone riding the bike would block with reflector from being seen!

Hey East Hill, also, grettings again Pastor Bob! Here is a picture of it. It is a single speed. But in really great shape. The chrome on the fenders are near mint. I am trying to hunt down some 26 inch tires and tubes for it. Then after that I will do the usual re-grease over haul. Take a look at the drop outs...

by the was Pastor Bob. There is a big tear on the seat on mine. Would you be interested in selling the seat off of yours? =) Just thought I would ask. Take Care.

SELL!!!! It's yours! PM me your address and I'll try to pop it in the mail tomorrow.
Your Roadmaster looks way better then this one I found at the dump. :) Personally, your bike is screaming "Mount a Brooks B-72 on me!" Just my thought. But seriously the saddle is yours. :D

Wow! Could you take a close up of the dropouts? Those are pretty radical...
I love the colour, too.

Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and actually joined just because I found this thread.
I have a bare frame exactly like the one shown in this picture, rear dropouts and all.
I cannot find a seat post or a handlebar stem thin enough to fit this frame.
Can you please, please do me a favour and let me know the exact measurements to
look for, or maybe one of you knows where I could get them?
Also, it appears that this frame and fork cannot accept the 26x2.125 balloon tyres.
Do you know what maximum tyre size would fit?
I really appreciate your help.
Cheers,
Christian
