:irritated To members, I have been an avided cyclist for 15 yrs, and ride a Colnago frame. This past summer I ordered a new Daccordi frame from USA EURO BIKE in Cocoa Bch, Fla. What a nitemare! I placed the order in June and received the frame in Sept. When my local bike shop tried to install the Dura Ace BB, they couldn't get it to thread all the down and believed the shell to be cross threaded. I contacted the company , and they said my shop wasn't cognizant of Italian frames and a "special tool" was required. I was sceptical since my shop services Italian frames with the local racing club I belong too, and have been in business for over 20 yrs. I sent him the frame and BB, (at my expense) for examination. He installed the BB and sent it back to me and billed my account an addtional $45. Well, he installed it backwards and it was crooked. I sent it back again, (at my expense) for re-examination. USA EURO BIKE refuses to accept resonsibility for this damaged frame and has offered me 2 options. Send the bike back to me, (at my expense) or he keeps it and charges me a 10% restocking fee and gives me a store credit for the balance. I have offered another frame, but no deal! I have contacted my credit card company with all documentation, and they gave me a credit for a full refund. But... this guy has 45 days to contest this. I think I will win this but you never know. Be careful of .com companies and importers who have poor business practices. Any ideas on what else I can do? Thanks, Shawn
