I would have posted this in the classifieds section, but all I see is that BicycleBid.com thing--and there's nothing in there. Anyway, I need to unload my Brand New 2004 Redline Conquest Pro bike. The frame is 48cm and it's too big for me. Yesterday I rode a 47cm Cannondale Cross that was much much better. Thus, bye-bye Redline.
Here's the details: I built up the frame/fork last weekend. I ordered the frame from Excelsports.com. I test rode the bike on the street, no off-road riding at all. It has less than 1 mile on it. It's just too big. This is the smallest frame size Redline makes.
Most of the parts on the bike are new and the used stuff is gently used (see specs below). Asking price is $1000. A complete 2004 Conquest Pro retails for $1379.99. Frame/fork on its own is $450 and a Shimano 105 build kit from Cyclocrossworld.com is $799, and that doesn't include wheels--so this is a good deal. Make me an offer! I'm reachable at ianlnyc@verizon.net
