Hi, I live in Collinsville, Texas and have gotten into road biking over the last year or so. My first ride was Hotter 'N Hell 2007. My question is this: There's a big ride that goes through Collinsville every year (I want to say around May-June) and I cannot for the life of me figure out which one it is. I've been all over the internet searching tons of different web sites and cannot seem to find this ride. The only one I found that could have been close to it was the North Texas Classic. But when I tried looking at the map of the ride, it kept asking me for a password. Here's the web site. (http://www.northtexasclassic.info/) I live near the football field in Collinsville and they always have a rest stop set up in the parking lot. It is off of FM902. I'm pretty sure the ride goes North on Highway 377 and turns east onto FM902 in Collinsville. Anybody have a clue what ride this is? Thanks for any help.

I think the MS150 used to go thru Collinsville on the way to Lake Texoma and then on in to Oklahoma on the second day. The route now stays South and spends the first night at the Texas Motor Speedway and then on the second day out NW and back into Fort Worth.
This years MS150 is May 3-4 http://dallas.ms150.org/dallas/
It's not too late to sign up - fundraising for the MS Society is required.

I was just looking around and don't see anything. There is a Red River Classic out of Sherman, but I don't see a website or map for it.

On any of these rides, the routes can change from year to year for various reasons.

Thanks guys. I had seen the MS150 before. I'm guessing the route changed over the last year. I don't remember seeing it in 2007 but I remember the years before that.

Hey Chris, I didn't know you were a member here.

The Muenster ride went great- I had a lot of fun. Definitely the most challenging ride I've ever done. Those Forrestburg hills are INSAAAANE. Much worse than the Leonard Hills on the Bonham ride. My dad actually did the 65K with me! (Well, he finished a couple of hours behind me, but you get the point lol). I was really, really proud of him. He was just going to do the 20 mile, but he said he was feeling so great that he decided to go for the 40. Overall, a great day. "Finish" line was lame, but it's all good. Well worth it.
