Since some time I am very much in track bikes. Fortunately, I finally saved hopefully enough money to buy one by serving in a restaurant.

I am looking for a track bike like the one leaning in the back of the two bikes.

Today I went (once again) to my local track bike shop and they offered me a Pake frame for about 200 Euros. Does anyone of you have experiences with Pake frames?

Does anyone know a good online store for track bikes?

I am since some time looking for source where there are pictures of track bikes and corresponding lists of the components used for the bikes.

I would highly appreciate if somebody could help me,

thank you

I'm not aware of any central sites where you could visually compare bikes and components, you might be better off making a list of potential bikes and then go to the manufacturer's websites...

That being said, you could of course make the list and then do a google search/google image search for the bikes in question; what you'll find will likely be "personalized" but at least you'll get a sense of what people end-up doing with those particular bikes...

Why the one in the back? It's hardly discernible as a bike. There's no way that anyone can tell you anything about it based on that photo.

The Pake's a decent bike, but do more research. Read some threads and I'll bet you'll learn a lot more than you will just asking outright.

People usually list their parts on both fixedgeargallery (http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/)and velospace (http://velospace.org/node). Look at some bike pictures and see what parts you like. Then read reviews on this forum or on other review sites.

Where are you located? That will help in making suggestions.

There are many useful threads here; *RESOURCE THREAD: Single Speed and Fixed Gear* (read this first!) (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=287364).

its a gang green(?) bianchi pista, you can tell from the color, hideous fork, and equally hideous saddle.

Thank you for your help and advice so far.

I managed to get some information from the galleries. Btw I am located in Copenhagen. We have a pretty nice store in town, called track bike shop. They are helpful and gave me some useful information.

Thanks
