I have a Rodriguez AL-26 tandem and am in search of a Child Stoker kit that will fit. Anyone out there with grown kids that can part with one?
Thanks

I got my kid stoker setup from chucksbikes.com for $85. Catches - he only had 1-3/8" and I have a 1-1/4" OD seat tube. No problem, I cut a shim out of a flexible 1.5" drain pipe (PVC?) and it works perfectly.

Also, the chucksbikes.com setup does not use real kid stoker cranks, just 140mm BMX cranks on backwards. So I reversed my pedal spindles so that my kid could ride with toe clips. I haven't had any loosening problems, though.

Real kid stoker options with cost more money. Good luck!

Is your Burley stoker kit 1 1/4" seat tube? If so, I would be interested in purchasing it from you. Let me know.

Thanks

I'll check it tonight. my frame is steel, but it seems like it should be adjustable. how lil is your stoker?

It looks like mine is a 1-1/8" seatpost. let me know if you're interested, otherwise i'll probably put it on ebay.

My 6 year old is getting too big for the trailer, so I am looking at stoker kit options. I have a Burley Rock and Roll and am wondering if he might be the appropriate size for a set up like this. Do you have a picture of how this is set up?

Thanks

I don't have a pic, it's just a little crank and chainring that clamps on the seattube. the kid sits on the stoker seat and pedals that crank, which is linked to the main stoker crank by a short chain. my daughter was tall enough that i could just use crank shorteners, rather than the child stoker kit. so i've got that extra.

Here is a picture of my setup. It's not a very good photo, but perhaps it will show the idea.

Thanks for the photo's people!

I went ahead and ordered the stoker kit from Chucksbikes.com I will have to see the 140 mm are too long, I don't think they should be.
