It starts at 8pm tomorrow night. Who's gonna be there? I'd bring my road bike as I usually ride it on the path but as this will be my first group ride I'm afraid there will be an excess amount of dust so am planning on the fixed gear. What will you be riding?

I was there just a few minutes ago. Anybody else ever show up for a ride 24hrs early? After I realizied what I did, I decided what the heck and rode about 5 miles (to boston store and back). It wasn't very dusty, but ALOT of knats, plus 3 deer. I think I'll try again on the right day. I'll be on my recumbent, probably won't be hard to figure out who I am.

I plan on being there---I will be riding my hybrid---a Raleigh C-200 that I use to commute to and from school where I teach. I hope the weather is solid for tomorrow PM.

I thought about going, But I rode at Vultures knob friday night. No I am going to sit around the house and drink lots of beer and see if I can get my ribs to stop hurting.

Cheri and I plan on riding, I'll be on the SS, she'll be on her beater flat-bar.

Good choice on bringing the fixie - friends don't let friends ride nice road bikes on the towpath. ;)

So who made it. I saw Chip and Cheri. I took my son, and we both had fun. Only did the 14 mile, but riding at in the dark through the park/woods was truly unique.

I'll have to deny being there until the statues of limitation run out.

I was there. Setup my fixed as a single speed instead though. It was my first group ride and I wanted the ability to coast in case of emergencies. It was a lot of fun. I didn't expect to be in the lead group but I was on the way out. We went the full distance, but on the way back my homemade head light ran out of battaries and I didn't think it was safe to cruise at full speed. Luckily I paired up with a nice couple who let me stick with them at a safer pace to share their light.

The howling coyotes were a bit unnerving!

Ha, them were just dogs...coyotes yip more than howl.
