I realize that an important factor is how it fits, but assuming the both fit well, what would be a better buy?

1 - Asking price is $950

The Schwinn offers a better value for money than a Cannondale or Specialized. It has great components and a very light frame.

Most of the time the bike was sitting in the storage and it was barely used. Never crashed the bike, like new condition.

2 - Asking Price is $900

2004 Specialized Allez Comp road bike - 56 cm
Brand new condition - rarely used and well kept -> inside, clean, warm, and dry.
Great triathlon bike!

* Columbus SLX smooth-welded alloy frame with replaceable derailleur hanger.
* Shimano Ultegra 18-speed complete group.
* Shimano lightweight R-540 high performance wheel set.
* Specialized Pro oversized 7075 stem and handlebars.
* Specialized Body Geometry Pro leather saddle.
** Bonus - Specialized All Condition Armadillo tires ($90 value) included along with original Pro Cipollini tires.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance,

Frank

Whichever fits the best and makes you feel good.

Going with the fit is always a good choice.

Also go with the one you just like the most. After all you will be the one riding it.

Thanks for your responses so far. To clarify, I was wondering which of the bikes has better components. I ask because I am about to invest in a first better than average bike, and I don't know anything about what parts/components/bike are better quality.

the first one seems like a better deal, however we recommend the one which fits you better because no matter how good the bike is, if it doesn't fit you, you'll have a hard time riding it.
