thumb throttle to twist throttle

Hello all. I've got the 36 volt brushed Wilderness Energy kit. I really like it but I don't like the thumb throttle that comes with it. I've seen twist throttles that come with other kits...and I've been told by Wilderness Energy that it's possible to switch them out, but so far no one has been able to give me any specifics...which one to buy...if I have to change out the connectors..etc. If anyone can help me-I'd sure appreciate it.

hmm sorry I can't help, but I have a throttle set up and I'm not very happy with it. The generic plastic chrome grip is very ugly and it likes to get loose during outings so when I twist the whole throttle will rotate and I'll have to stop pull out my wrench and tighten it. Why don't you like the thumb throttle? I suppose you have to hold and that can get uncomfortable.
If there is a nice aftermarket throttle, I would be happy to replace my cheap one.
