Thank you for showing me what honesty is, what hard work is and for teaching me to appreciate the beauty not only around me but within. Sorry, I can't write anything now because I'll be an emotional mess. But my thoughts about my mom would be very similar to yours. I'm not very good at expressing these kinds of feelings to my mom, but I'll be sure to write her something nice this Mother's Day.

Please do. Because some of us aren't lucky enough to have them here to express it to. Cherish her now while you are able to. Do it while she can still hear you, see your face, and touch your hand. I wish I could.

I thank my mom for teaching me manners, the sort one poster in this thread does not have.

I also thank my mom for knowing when a joke was distasteful. I'll delete the post, no intended harm to the people who don't have their mothers.

This well intended thread is starting to become another battle ground.
