Foo - Dear mom,

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Besides, it's almost Mother's Day (at least in the US), so get on with it. It's probably a good idea to mention that you really appreciate your mom, and that you love her.
If any of you need help writing, let me know.
OK?

Dear mom,
Thank you for loving me and giving me the tools I needed to become just like you. Thank you for showing me what honesty is, what hard work is and for teaching me to appreciate the beauty not only around me but within. Thank you for instilling within my heart the virtues of life and the value of others around me. Thank you for teaching me to appreciate the wonders of this Earth. Thank you for showing me how to hold strong, how to be tough and brave. Thank you for being hard on me when I needed it most. And most of all, thank you for the gift of life.
Hmm, no can do.
Must be that time of year again. Don't take her for granted, y'all.

Sorry, I can't write anything now because I'll be an emotional mess. But my thoughts about my mom would be very similar to yours. I'm not very good at expressing these kinds of feelings to my mom, but I'll be sure to write her something nice this Mother's Day.

Please do. Because some of us aren't lucky enough to have them here to express it to. Cherish her now while you are able to. Do it while she can still hear you, see your face, and touch your hand. I wish I could.

I thank my mom for teaching me manners, the sort one poster in this thread does not have.
;)
I also thank my mom for knowing when a joke was distasteful. I'll delete the post, no intended harm to the people who don't have their mothers.

This well intended thread is starting to become another battle ground.
For those of you who are fortunate enough to be able to, go give your mom lotsa love. :)
