Where might be a good source for quality, name brand 18650 round flashlight batteries. Ordered a light with the Cree Q5 which uses an 18650 battery, and while they may be ordered overseas, seems it is hit or miss on the quality. Suggestions?

I would go to candlepowerforum.com and do a search. They have so many good reviews on that forum.

+1

And be sure to use protected 18650 batteries. These have a small circuit board added that prevents overcharging and protects against short circuits so that you don't burn down the house.

Stay away from dealextreme horrible service and they take for ever!

Lighthound usually ships same day and you won't find a better li-ion 18650.
