Foo - Dead skunk at top of hill, worst climb ever...!

Today I had one of my worst climbs so far. Going up this hill, a 10 mph headwind and a dead skunk, well, dead ahead. The smell was unbearable, working on my aerobic breathing sucking in fresh air and at the same time flies and the stinching smell of rotten dead skunk. I was so glad once I made it up the hill, I was almost gasping for air, lol.

Uh. Can't escape it either.

On a couple of long tours going thru some big-a hill country - it never failed - sucking wind to get to the top and WTH is that smell!! - dear dog ----- never failed - fermented cow snit - sprayed on the fields - not yet turned under. Dead animals or that lingering smoldering fire. And never at the bottom of the hill either. ugh!

OK, that was funny! I've come across dead skunks many times, but never at the top of a climb. Brutal.

just down the road from me has been a dead possum, it does not smell but... the other day 3 streetsweepers past over it and it is still there i see it every day on the way to work
