Touring - Anyone seen Dwain before? (pic)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Dwain (http://www.pbase.com/canyonlands/image/96172534/original) just stayed with us last night and after sharing the requisite touring tales, I wonder if anyone here has come across him before. Reason being is that (from what I understood), he's toured through the majority of North America in the last ten years (in 6 month stints), to include all lower 48 states. If you missed it, his name is linked to an image in one of my galleries.
I didn't get his entire route plans but he's in Utah now and will be heading East through Southern Colorado, bound for the coast and will then turn around and head back to Washington State.

Man, if only I had it in me to do that! I'm certainly tickled thinking about it! Funny that I've been craving lightening up my collection of "things" lately. What a lucky guy to be wired that way. I suppose in a couple of years (when my son goes to college) I'll have nothing holding me back from shedding off the "material" and enter into the "now."

Here's another LINK (http://www.pbase.com/canyonlands/image/96172532/original) to a photo I took of Dwain this morning before he got on the road.
His touring is certainly an inspiration, especially given that he's 71 years old.
Don't mistake him for the lone wolf type. At least two calls home to family everyday. That probably wasn't possible on his Dempster Highway and other Alaska tours though.
Cheers,
