72 miles in HOT 95'ish heat! Nice ride but hot and dry. Not sure who that dude was on the bike selling Gatorade, water, tubes, patches, and jelly beanz, but glad he was there!

That guy was a life saver for us....bought a bunch of cold water...we really needed it at that point....
It is a great idea...I hope he is out there often!!

Definitely a learning experience on this one. Two bottles is NOT enough to go the whole 36 miles in the heat.

Wow! It must have been hot out there, but it looks likes a fun ride. Sorry to miss it, but I would have been dragging... one of you guys would have had to tow me...:) :D

I have seen a lady out there selling ice cream before, too.

We were hot in Pasadena on our short ride, but we had a little more shade and we brought an xtracycle loaded up with a five gallon water bottle...

Sorry I missed it. I had technical difficulties with the bike Friday night. Ended up quitting around 2:00am and then went to the bike shop instead first thing in the morning. by the time I had it finished, the fire started in Sierra Madre and it was too smokey to ride.

Looks like everyone had fun. Fortunately, there is water sources all along this route.
