For health and attraction, they say a WTH ratio for women is 0.7. For men, 0.9. In some studies, these WTH is a better indicator of health than BMI. It's also an indication of optimal hormone levels, and having less risk to diabetes, cancers, and cardiovascular diseases.

Well, we know how BMI is different for athletes, so I was curious.

What's your WTH ratio?

I'll start.

Mine is 0.78. I've always considered myself having an athletic build. Not much of a waist, and narrow hips.

Cool. Thanks Ms I! I was just so curious, because cyclists as a whole seem like the most fit people I know. Guys are always posting charts, numbers, BMI's, height, weight, miles...but I bet they don't even own a tape measurer! lol.

Free tape measurer from IKEA - or fancy scales, calipers, and such. :D
