Hmmm. I can't believe I'm fresh out of ideas. Other than putting it toward another bike, of course. :p

Oops and then I'm thinking about upgrading my Klein to all Campy or Dura-ace rather than buying a bike, but that could change in an hour...:(

Well, my boys (ages 7 and 9) want to ride with me more, so we're looking at one of the BikeFriday family triple bikes - a bicycle built for 3! It's basically similar to the tandem DiabloScott just picked up, but with an extra position. Of course, it'll cost a lot more than the stimulus check....

I'm putting mine in the bank. I just spent plenty of money, and I want to see this scheme fail miserably. :p

My birthday is in early May, so I'll be getting the few things I need (a few clothes, some Reelight lights) before I get my stimulus check.

I'd like to, eventually, get a new pair of wheels, but I don't really need them now, so I'll probably just save my stimulus check.

If a scooter comes up for sale that's suitable, motor-pacing baby! though we'd likely save it.

I've already spent the stimulus check months before we are to receive it. :(
I'll be paying the bills.

My stimulus check is going right into my gas tank. Nothing I can do about it.. Probably wont even notice it coming or going.

If that wasn't the case I would start a saving fund for a TT bike or something goofy

My pediatrician goofed up a couple of months ago and referred one of my kids to an OUT OF NETWORK provider for a simple yet (no surprise) extremely costly exam. Neither my pediatrician, provider or my HMO will pick up the tab. After 4 months of battle it seems I'm going to have to pay up...

It's too bad this money is coming direct deposit... I would love to send CHW one of these check signed over and then have them refund me the extra... I could probably get local news to make a story out of it and get this taken care of without losing this free money. Oh well.

So this stimulus is a no loss/no gain. Thanks for nuthin'!

My check is going for a vacation to SoCal to visit Richard Simmons, Disneyland, and take a ride with the BF folks down that way. That's how my Honey wants to do it, and I'm looking forward to it.

I had hoped to get some new brakes and a saddle out of the deal, but the money I'm getting FROM the government has to go to help balance out the money I had to sent TO the government for taxes.

funny how that works.

Same boat, pretty much. Easy come, easy go.

The remainder will go to paying for bike stuff I already bought :)

Negative, Sora is soooo overrated. Campy Nuovo Record, baby. Mine's 36+ YO (which is probably older than most regulars on this forum) and still going strong. None of this Ergo gurlie stuff...:p

Campagnolo Cambia Corsa is all you really need.

Lol, x, the only way we can beat that is to go back to the single speed flip-flops back at the turn of the century. Heck, Bostic can ride a single speed, that's all we need, right? Campy Pista it is, then. :)

CD?

I just used the regular refund to get a Rans Commuter Bag to replace the Linhtning Cycle Dynamics seat bag I had. While the Rans bag itself is nicer with more separate pockets, it's waaaay to tight slipping it over the seat.

haha...I offered to buy her the Burrberry slippers she was eyeing. Lucky for me, she said I can't buy her shoes because it's bad luck. Plus, my girl's a LV girl.
