when im riding/commuting during the week, i stick with my TIME Impact-S clipless pedals. on many a weekend, i'll switch to my clips and straps for casual rides around to bars/parties, etc..

my only problem is--i can't skid in toe clips! it just doesn't work for me because i'm so used to my feet being attached to the pedals. and i see people doing it effortlessly all the time.

how do you do this?

point your toes on your forward foot UP and your toes on the rear pedal DOWN.

it'll help your feet to not fly out of the clips. also, maybe lean farther forward than you do with the clipless pedals.

other than that it's pretty much the same. i just recently put a second strap on each pedal to add more security...i haven't ridden it yet, but i think it'll make a difference.
