I know this isn't necessarily the best place to get recommendations for medical services, but does anyone know of a good doctor in Salt Lake City? I'm looking for a general practitioner, sports kind of person. Someone who understands cycling, maybe? I've got a good doc now, I just always feel so rushed when I see him, it's like he's on speed or something and it makes me forget to ask things and I'm not sure he's really 100% paying attention. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Well, you just described every doctor I have seen in the past 10 years. I am wondering if the one you are looking for even exists?
I had a great doctor about 8 years ago--John Luras. He was at 70 S. 900 E., but I think he might have recently moved to 24 S. 1100 E. Not sure.
He wasn't particularly sports oriented, but he asked good questions, seemed to listen carefully to what I said and did a lot of little stuff, like checking to be sure what procedures and prescription medications would be covered best by my health insurance.
I needed to switch doctors because my employer changed health insurance plans (IHC, which Dr. Luras didn't subscribe to at the time). Haven't had a doctor that good since. Thanks Aetna--wish I'd never met ya.
Dr. Richard Allen 1250 E 3900 S Ste 260 Saint Marks Family Medicine Ctr.
He has always taken all the time I needed and takes a rather conservative approach. His backup colleagues are also good if you need something in a hurry.
Cheers!
Wasatch Internal Medicine is a good group too.
Some of the docs also ride.
My OBGYN is the best, and he rides too, but I'm guessing that's not what you're looking for.

No, not exactly, no.
I already have a couple of those anyway (as friends)...
:D
