Here's a link
Bianchi Pista (http://www.bianchiusa.com/pista.html)
I was talking to my LBS about building up a SS for commuting and trying to save some bucks at the same time. They suggested, the Bianchi which they could sell me for around $700 bucks.
The logic behind it would be that even if say I'd spent 200 bucks for a cheap frame, then I'd have to buy some wheels (200 bucks for a decent set IF I could find some used), tires, etc... and eventually I could end up spending more then I bargained for. Gotta say that road frames up in my neck of the woods are pretty hard to come by. My used parts been contains mostly spare parts for my MTB with tons of shifting components.
At least this way I'd end up with a complete bike without the hassle.
