I have a Raleigh Super Course lacking a bottom bracket and would like to get one. Sheldons database doesn't have SR cranks on it, so I'm wondering what the right spindle length would be for the SR Apex double crank set? Is there an easy way to figure it out? I wish I had the old one....

Thanks for the help if you got it.

Get (borrow) something that will go in the bike and mount the crank. Then measure the resulting chainline and calculate the needed spindle length. There's practically no way to know what is needed without doing some precision measuring on the crank.

I knew there was a good reason to save old BB's!!! I'll measure tonight!
