Penny rd - the first section we ride - is horrendous. You can find a line easy enough, but with the traffic sometimes it makes it an interesting affair.

:D - Only thing would be weather or the fact that it is Bike to Work Week and I am organizing it at our office. I don't want to commute 50 miles on Tuesday AND get my legs ripped off that night....

Went out after the rain on Sunday. Rough ride, windy, been off the bike for over a week. I nearly skidded into a car that didn't look my way as the road was wet and lost my rear tire for a bit. I'm committed to some parenting activity tomorrow. If I don't fullfill that obligation I have a feeling the state might decide they would like for my son to live with them instead :eek: I'd love to ride, but I don't think I could hang with a trailer on the back.

It wasn't even near us! O.K., so the three of us waited until about 6:40 to take off. Yes, it was windy. We didn't get rained on (sprinkled) until the last stretch of Old Sutton -- by then it felt good. The three hills in back were blocked off due to power lines down, but a fireman walked us past them. He killed our average :cry: The second time we took to the flatter road around them. We made it back to the pub with a lot of lightning to the south, but safe.
