Foo - A Funny Story about the KKK

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

And it does not even sound like they were drunk!
Imagine if you did mix alchohol with this bunch.

"Struck him in the head and exited at the base of his skull"???? Oh, yeah, KKK, nothing in there to impede it!
$7500 bail? Heck, that would buy three or four trailers, seventeen broken appliances and 12 junk cars on blocks to scatter in front of them and sixteen hound dogs per house.

The bullet couldn't have gone up untill gravity stopped it and pulled it back. It must have hit something and bounced.

I've often wondered about all those shots fired in the air at some of the festiveties & demos shown on the news !!! Where do they come down? Was'nt there something a while ago about a light aircraft shot down at a wedding by guests discharging their weapons in the air just for the hell of it ??

Don't see why not. Could be a freak chance.
Warships going under the bridge near me make sure no crew are on deck in case anyone drops a penny from the bridge.
They used to embed themselves in the woodwork and that's only from a hundred and odd feet.

Good point chewa, buty it seems like a remote possibility. I'd still look around and see if there was something it could have bounced off of.
I don't know about a plane being brought down greywolf, but I understand an American Helociptor thoght it was under attack and blew up a wedding in Afganistan when the shot in the air near it.

Whatever the physics, and however it happened, it really doesn't get much funnier than that!!! :D

Anyone with a modicum of sense would hopefully be firing blanks. Anyone stupid enough to go around firing live rounds into the air isn't responsible enough to own a gun at all.
And yes joeprim, according to my cursory understanding of the law of conservation of energy, apart from slight losses due to air friction, a bullet shot into the air will come down at approximately the same speed it went up. 'Fortunately' in this case it went up straight enough to hit a fellow Klanner instead of some poor sod a mile away.
