These are the thin nylon-ish hunting gloves I picked up at WalMart. I don't hunt, but these gloves are very lightweight, and I thought I would try them in the cold. They've got a brown and tan camo pattern, fall forest style, and a fake leather palm. If you've looked at gloves at WalMart before hunting season you must know the type I mean. They weren't expensive, somewhere near $10.

Well, I took them out for their first trial this evening. Real temperature 25F. Winds gusting to near 20 mph.

These gloves performed very well. They're not just camo. They were *very* windproof, and I got no chill whatsover on my hands. I'd take them out in even colder weather. And I shall.

If you're looking for cheap gloves, you could do worse.

Thanks for the review. I have been looking for a pair of gloves for riding in 25-40F weather. My Specialized Sub-zero gloves are a bit on the warm side for temps above freezing.
