Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Do these exist? I want to put an 8 speed setup on an old ('70) Bianchi, and this would be the cheapest way to do it, but I can't find the clamp-- it would have to be a downtube clamp with the square bosses. Indexed shifters are a must.
I guess the only other option is bar ends, but I'm not the biggest fan.

I know Shimano has/had a clamp on mount that accepted any downtube shifters. Going to have to do some searching for it; might as well ask the LBS
