I pledged 500 too. Last year I pledged the same but rode 700 miles. I figure it's better to under promise and over deliver. I'll ride about 90-120 mi per week commuting and make up the rest on the weekends.

As a coincidence, I pledged 500 too. Did the same last year and was scrambling over Memorial Day weekend to make the pledge.

Yay! Sacramento finally broke a MILLION MILES!!! With 3 days to spare. I will meet my goal of 500 miles after riding to work and doing a 23-mile training ride tomorrow and I plan a 60-mile ride on Saturday so maybe I can get closer to 600 for the month. I'm glad we as a collective met this goal after trying for several years and missing by just 74,000 last year. I am putting some of this on the $4+ gas, but YAY! nonetheless.
