I bought my Folding Electric Mountain Bike from EzRideBikes. Great communication and real nice bike at a reasonable price. The link is http://www.EzRideBikes.com/EZ008.html?forum

I like this bike. Weight is 55 lbs, which is a lot lighter than other e-bikes. Looks well engineered.

It looks like it can do some fire road hill climbs (which is difficult for a beginner MTB'er on my Diamondback Topanga @31.5 lbs). Has anyone tried to do any mild XC'ing with it?

At $1295 it looks like a pretty good deal. I need some more background info on the company. I didn't get a whole lot of info in a Google search.

Specs are cool - looks to me like a Sanyo front hub motor which I don't think is terribly exciting. What looks like a rear hub motor is actually the battery and I would be leery of serious off road with either hub motor or battery pack. Tidal Force had some problems with some of their hub battery packs collapsing under harsh use.

Also, there are spelling issues in their description - lithium is misspelled. Unfortunately, doesn't create a lot of confidence when simple things like that happen.
