Which is the best truck to transport my mountain bike? Also should I go to my LCD or buy it on the internet?

You don't need a real truck to transport something as light as a bike so a Chevy will do :)

For the size and price, I love Ford Rangers. Unless you need something big its perfect. Get one thats a few years old and there is a huge price drop. The truck hasent gotten a huge update in a looooong time, but its a truck, not a BMW, it has everything you need!

I can fit 2 bikes in the extended cab of my Chevy. Who knows how many I can fit in the bed.

- the latest ford truck feature? a heated tailgate for when you're pushing it home during winter.

- First thing to get after getting a Ford? A dog, so you have someone to walk home with.

- FORD, Found On Road Dead.

Keep a road bike in the back if you get a Ford, you'll need it.

Much of a Ford fan as I am I have to say that when it comes to trucks, 'Ford vs. Chevy' is sort of irrelevant. Dodge.

From past history, I take the Dodge nameplate as advice.

I agree. Its not over 50 lbs.... the Chevy MIGHT be able to haul it.

well that 80 bucks is like 4/5ths of a new chain for your bike.

More money for gas is not the only impact that an inefficient form of transportation has on the world.

Dodge owns all.

Cummins engine owns.

I don't know if you've ever heard the term I'd rather be cummin than strokin.

But my dodge would own any f150, in torque that is it's diesel.

$80, if we were lucky would give my dad's truck 3/4 tank...

I drive a Toyota Tacoma. $80 is almost 2 full fill ups. It would only be a tank and a half for my 4Runner though :).

Get a Ford Ranger. These days, pretty much every truck is overkill, but the Ranger is the only small one I ever see. My friend has one, and my dad, and they're great. You don't need a truck though, my bike usually finds itself in my moms wagon, but if your carting around a few of your buddies bikes, your gonna want a truck.
