Foo - Can I check status on tax returns?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

You'd have to file an amended return, Pheard.

Call the IRS and ask for a tracking number. :p
Either that or be patient.
Wow what an unhelpful snob I just encountered. She hung up on me, I told her she was being rude and was completely unhelpful and she hung up on me. Every question I asked she made a huge *SIGH* after I asked it. Refused to help, or do anything about it.

Jon, they are swamped right now. They're getting what the accountants and tax preparers got the week before the 15th. That's why they are a little frazzled and short right now.

Call back, but like 10 seconds into the conversation say, "excuse me for a second m'am", break out into your best soprano voice and say, "Tony, take him outside, i want him rubbed out..... sorry m'am, i'm a-so sorry for the disturbance".

I really don't care. That's like someone who works Safeway during thanksgiving using the high traffic flow of people as an excuse to not be friendly to a customer. She was a b word from the get go. It takes alot to tick me off, she kept sighing after every question I asked.

*sigh*
Big difference: You're not a customer. You're trying to get money from them and they gain interest on it the longer they hold it. Not much motivation for customer service there. Did I mention they're armed?

She was more like huffing and puffing at me. Also started raising her voice and had a negative tone. But whatever, meh. No good excuse to not be friendly when you work with people, not much anyone can say to me to make me think otherwise.
